to report Missionary thought and culture base, How and the extent of the influence of religion in any society depends on one hand on the definition and role of religion in people’s lives and on the other hand on the socio-cultural conditions of that society.
According to Mehr’s narrative, young people are the great assets of a society and the future builders of the system and people’s pride. Sociologists believe that a healthy society has healthy young people. One of the important ways of healthy education is to familiarize young people with religious teachings and dos and don’ts. The dos and don’ts of religion are like a doctor’s prescription that saves people from diseases and the result is the creation of a civilized and healthy legal society. Therefore, all people, especially young people, should be more familiar with religion. Life without faith and religion is painful.
In general, young people have a creative and inquisitive mind and always seek to discover the truth and solve problems and answer their doubts. The young man is faced with dozens of questions, including who I am, where I came from, and where I am going, for which convincing answers must be provided. According to Ayatollah Martyr Motahari, these doubts are a good passage, but not answering them or not taking into account the spirit of the youth when answering causes a wavering in their religious beliefs and weakens the foundations of religious education. Almighty God has blessed today’s generation, and that is that the intellectual and rational powers of our youth today are used much earlier than in previous generations, so that they are interested in understanding issues in a fundamental way and with reasoning and only by following others. Don’t be satisfied and this is a blessing of God that exposes humans to evolution sooner. What you have before you is a selection of the words of the late Ayatollah Misbah Yazdi regarding the realm of religious values:
The question that is raised is, “What was the divine purpose of human creation?” In other words, “What is the purpose of our existence?” And in the third word, “What level of perfection and happiness is possible for us to achieve” in order to direct our forces in that direction? The reason for raising this question was that human value systems are different and efforts are made to adapt the Islamic value system to different schools, some of which require winding roads and some of which have slippages. Therefore, we said to go to God himself first and ask him: “God! What did you create us for?” Because if we know what is the ultimate goal of our existence, we will realize our value and we will not sell ourselves cheaply.
Some people waste their lives in vain due to ignorance of their existential value, and sometimes with entertainment or drugs and intoxicants, they seek to spend their lives in such a way that they do not understand at all how it passed; It seems that they are tired of their life and hate themselves! Perhaps the many narrations that encourage self-knowledge, especially those that have been introduced with the expression “I am Arafa Qadra” are because this knowledge is the most necessary knowledge. By the way, it is narrated that the most obligatory knowledge is self-knowledge. Of course, these narrations have different meanings, some of which are very high level. The level that is related to our discussion is to know how much our value is so that we don’t spend our life on worthless things and don’t regret and suffer. For this purpose, we knelt in front of the Qur’anic verses and requested from the Qur’an: O Word of God! Tell us what God created us for? In response, we came across several groups of verses that can be divided into three categories.
Mercy: the ultimate goal of creation
There is a group of verses in which God Almighty says: I created man (rather, the world) to show mercy. Jud, grace, and mercy are different interpretations of the same truth, the Quranic interpretation of which is “mercy” Mercy has a very wide circle. Part of it is the mercies that our intellect understands. Like the blessings that God gives us in this world. The rank higher than these mercies are the mercies similar to these (and similar) with the difference that they have a higher value and they are the mercies of the Hereafter. In heaven, there are foods, drinks, heavenly palaces, good wives, etc.; But they are very different from the blessings in the world and our intellect cannot understand their quality exactly.
The Qur’an also mentions another type of mercy, which it sometimes mentions with the word “Rizwan” and this mercy is higher than all of them (ورضوانٌ مِنّ اللهه اكبارو) and sometimes it is interpreted as “a place close to God” (Fi The seat of righteousness is with Malik Almighty) and he also says about the martyrs: “With their Lord they will rest; They have sustenance before God.” Being with God is more important than food. We will be very happy if they send us a dish from the Supreme Leader’s office and consider it an honor for us. The more valuable their gifts are, the more enjoyable they are; But if we are invited to eat with him for a few minutes, the pleasure and honor cannot be compared to the food and gifts that are sent. Being with a gentleman is one thing. This is a joy that only a lover can understand.
The best and most valuable servants of God, i.e. the holy existence of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, and then the members of the House of Infallibility and Purity, peace be upon them, are honored in that position, and the understanding of that position is much higher than the horizon of our understanding. They are the dearest servants and the best creatures that it was possible to create. Perhaps the meaning of this statement is that what is possible for someone other than God to possess, God has given to the Holy Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. If he does not give him this mercy, to whom should he give it? Why save it? But what position is this, we do not understand exactly; We know only briefly that it is nearness to God in the sense that the prophet rises so high that he comes close to God and there is no distance between him and God. When a person loves someone, he wants to sit in the parliament where he has no distance from him. The mercy for which Almighty God has created human beings is a wide range that includes all the mentioned levels and between the highest and the lowest levels, there are many levels that aspire to infinity. God loves to give mercy, and whatever he gives to others, nothing is lacking from him. Therefore, there is no reason why it should not.
Choice: The way to reach mercy
How do people deserve to understand that grace? As an introduction, I would like to say that there are some creatures that when God creates them from the beginning to the end, their existence always remains uniform and they receive whatever capabilities they have at the very first moment. God has created so many of these creatures that there is no empty space for them in the universe. Because it is necessary for his mercy, and when it is possible to extend his mercy to others, why not do so!? For him who has no trouble
There are other types of beings whose existence is variable and change over time. The creatures of the material world are like this. God created Gabriel from the beginning and he did not do anything to become Gabriel. Mikael, Israfil and other angels were the same beings they are now from the beginning when they were created and they did not take any pains to reach this position. In the meantime, God wanted to create a creature that would progress by its own will, and he discussed this matter with the angels. He said: I want to create a creature that will progress by its own will and become my caliph. You are not my caliph.
This being should be such that it gradually develops by its own will. If you created Adam from the beginning as he should be in the end, he would not be a human but an angel like other angels. The difference between an angel and a human being is that they are creatures that do not change (wama menna illawa laho maqam maaloom) but man is a creature that must move forward with his own will to become the manifestation of God’s will and will In a sense, we can say: the place of such a creature was empty in the world of creation. The angels were not like this, and therefore they did not deserve the position of caliphate, and when they said to God: Do not let the one who corrupts in it and sheds blood, and we praise you and sanctify it; God briefly said: I do not know what we do not know.
They could not understand that the criterion of that position is not glorification and sanctification, but something else. It must be a being with a will and progress by its own will; It means that it should be placed on two paths so that it can be both degraded and promoted. If there is only one way forward, there is no choice. When a person becomes the manifestation of God’s will and finds the right to the caliphate of God, he has two paths ahead of him and chooses the correct path by his own choice. Finally, such a way is the position that God gave to the Holy Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, which no other being deserves. Others understand degrees and radii of it. There must be a talent in this being that can walk this path. He should give up his love and selfishness and sacrifice everything for his will. Where was the question, me or you? Say: Which one is me!? The ruling is what you say! I have no heart for you! I have lost my heart to you! There was no place for such a being in the world. There were many angels in the world and they had great positions; But they were not like this.
examination; The basis of choice
A person reaches great mercy if he says to his God: “Whatever you want!” The name of this behavior is “worship”. Devotee means one who says to his God: “I am a slave and I have no authority over myself. Everything I have is yours. My will is yours. Just what you want.” According to this explanation, we can say: The purpose of creation is worship. God created man to reach mercy, but the way to reach that mercy is worship
In order to find out who is serving, certain conditions must be provided. All the characteristics that are provided for human life in this world are the prelude for people to be at crossroads so that a new field of choice is provided for them. God has provided such a framework that anyone can do several different types of work at any moment.
In Quranic and Islamic culture, the name of this condition is “examination”. God says: The One who created death and life for you is the best of deeds; “Liblocom” means to test you; It means to provide a basis for you to choose one way from among several ways. His wish is to choose the best way and the purpose of these different fields is to recognize the most virtuous people. According to this meaning, we can say: God created us in this world to test us. These are the three things that are used from the Quran; The creation of humans for mercy; Human creation for worship; Human creation for testing. These three goals are the same in the sense that we are created to be in different situations and try to choose the best way, and the best way is to serve God. If we choose to serve God, it means that we have sacrificed our will in front of his will. The result of servitude is a mercy that is exclusive to free creatures. So, based on the verses of the Qur’an, we have three goals in length, which do not contradict each other, but each one is a prelude to another. Examination is a prelude to worship and choosing God’s path, and God’s path is a prelude to divine mercy.
The measure of human value
If asked what is the value of a human being? Is he worth trying? We say: the exam has no originality, but is a means to choose the best. So it has preliminary value and is the basis of our flight. Therefore, our real value is the position we have to reach and our real value is what we have earned. Sometimes a person may lose and degrade the basic values. In this case, he is one of those who will say in the Day of Judgment: “Ya Laitani Konto Toraba!” I wish I wasn’t a person at all and I was dirt.” This sigh and regret is due to the fact that he has destroyed his God-given talents and has no chance to compensate. Someone who has a diamond seed but does not know its value, fraudsters can easily deceive him and take the diamond from him for a small price. Only God knows our worth, and we trust his word, which says: The following is in the presence of God, a great reward; At what price we sell ourselves depends on the path we choose.
The speech of the Qajar government official in his dying state
There are those who, by God’s grace, trade everything with God from the moment they reach the task. The late Ayatollah Behjat, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to say: When we were studying in Najaf, we used to see a tall person who would visit the shrine and walk with great dignity. At the same time, I felt that he had another head that fell down. Later, I found out that he was from the Qajar family and had a mission in Iraq, but he resigned and joined the neighboring country. At the time of his death, he invited the late Ayat Azam Mr. Khoei and Mr. Milani to his house and asked them to be with him at the time of his death. He says in the presence of these dignitaries: “God! You are a witness that when I reached the task, I have not sinned even once on purpose!” Ayatollah Behjat used to say: We should be ashamed of ourselves; We who are so-called people of knowledge and servants of Imam Zaman, may God bless him and grant him peace, how much we sin, but an ordinary person who was not even a person of knowledge says that sentence in the presence of two imitation authorities like Ayatollah Milani and Ayatollah Khoei in his dying state.
These discussions are for us to know what talent God Almighty has created in man, but we do not appreciate ourselves and spend our lives in carnal moods and satanic obsessions. Those benefited who realized how much their existence is worth and traded this existence only with God. They were martyrs who knew their own worth and sold their lives and wealth to God and received that special divine mercy (Inna Allah buy from the believers their souls and their wealth in Paradise). We swear by the status of our beloved martyrs that you will grant us all a little of the status that you gave to your friends and the martyrs that you accepted.
